Bio: My academic background is in biology studying malaria drug resistance genes and my current interests are mainly in the history and philosophy of life sciences. I joined the HPS program because of the faculty strengths in this area.
Before coming to Florida State, I did graduate study at University of Notre Dame where I completed an MS thesis titled, "The Impact Of Gene Copy Number On Plasmodium falciparum Antifolate Drug Susceptibility". During my undergraduate degree, I studied parasitology, economics, and journalism at the University of Queensland in my hometown of Brisbane, Australia.
