Bio: I am interested in the divide between professional/academic and amateur/popular knowledge, relationships between theoretical and experimental knowledge, the interplay of nature and culture, natural history and natural theology, art in science, museum studies, and the constructivist approach to the history of science. In my free time, I enjoy socializing with our HPS cohort at potlucks and game nights, visiting museums and art galleries, exploring the great outdoors, making terrible puns, and reading works of fiction.
